Agarwood attar

Description

AGARWOOD attar has a pleasant, rich, warm woody aroma. A drop of this oil can be used as aphrodisiac perfume, for vaporization, or to enhance body oils or baths. Agarwood, or oud, is one of the most expensive and delicate perfumery substances. The aromatic wood is produced when the Aquilaria tree becomes infected. As a defense against the infection, the tree releases aromatic resin from which the scent is extracted. This fragrance possesses very strong therapeutic properties. It is believed that this scent has purifying qualities, aids in inner transformation, and heals the soul. Due to the declining agarwood forests and the rarity of the fragrant wood, agarwood oil is extremely valuable and rare. It is recommended to blend with sandalwood, saffron, jasmine, and rose aromas.
